Nebraska’s quarter was designed to capture the essence of this great state. Featuring historic Chimney Rock and a pioneer family traveling by covered wagon, the imagery was selected from more than 6,500 entries submitted by residents across the state—from local artists to school children.
“This quarter is a reminder of the vitality, spirit, and determination that has long been a trademark of our State.”
Quarters are a great tool when teaching arithmetic. But what about utilizing them in other subjects? Social studies, language arts, science—these areas can also benefit from some 25-cent coins.
